It is difficult to put a precise number on litigation — we learned that the hard way. We won our first ruling in 2009, and the Developer spent the next 13 years filing motions and appeals to delay enforcement. Every one of those required a response. Every response cost money.
We are not going to pretend we know exactly what the Developer will do next. What we know is this: $150,000 gives our legal team the resources to file, respond, and see this through. Every dollar raised goes directly to protecting Rio Mar and our property values.
